I'd been eyeing the Sam Edelman Petty ankle boot for a while now, but it's never gone down in price to the point where I was willing to buy them. Saw these and they are very similar in color and shape as the SE ones, so I bought them. Very happy as they fit true-to-size (I wear an 8m, have fallen arches and the orthotic I have fits just right in the boot), and are still tapered at the ankle to wear with skinny jeans or boot cut ones. After wearing them a few hours running errands with my children, my left bunion started to twinge a bit, but that's my problem, and while not painful, I don't think I can wear these all day. For the price, fit and look, it's a great buy!

These boots were exactly what I was looking for! I was a bit confused with previous reviews because some people said they were slightly too big, and others said then ran on the smaller side. I am either an 8.5 or a 9, depending on if the shoe runs big or small. I decided not to risk it and went with the 9, and they fit perfectly! I would say that they do run on the smaller side - the first time I wore them was with tights and they were snug, but comfortable, so I think I will need thin socks. They are also really comfortable! I wear them walking all around Washington DC and they don't bother my feet at all. They are well made compared to a lot of other boots similarly priced. Overall, a great buy! From : Marina
